Gentle Pathways: A Greater Power With Us
Passage:
2 Chronicles 32:7-8a "'Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.'"
Reflection Theme:
This devotional explores finding courage in overwhelming circumstances by remembering that God's power far exceeds any opposition we face, and He fights our battles alongside us.
Journaling Questions:
What current challenges in your life feel like "vast armies" that are beyond your ability to handle?
How does remembering that God fights your battles change your approach to these difficulties?
Where do you need to move from relying on "the arm of flesh" to trusting in God's greater power?
If today's devotional brought you peace, consider sharing this episode with a friend or family member who might also need a moment of quiet connection with God today.
